Sessional Worker – Midlands

Anchor Foster Care is currently recruiting a Sessional Worker who has experience of working with children and young people, including general administration with communication experience. You will be home based covering the Midlands area, with a focus on Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Staffordshire. 

This is a ‘casual’, hourly paid role. Hourly Rate is £12.50 for week days and £15 for weekends and bank holidays.

Required experience

We are keen to hear from people who have experience of:

• Working with children and young people to build self-esteem
• Helping with events and activities during school holidays
• Supporting children and young people to maintain contact with birth families and siblings (transporting children, supervising contact etc.)
• Caring for or supervising children and young people (respite/emergency)
• Attending and reporting on meetings involving children and young people
• Administration and effective telephone skills 

Important information

You will need to be available to work flexibly; this will include school holidays, after school and at weekends. You will also need to have a driving licence and your own car.
