Anchor Foster Care Visit Deptford Church
In December our Recruitment Officer Wendy attended the Advent Service at St. Paul's Church in Deptford to fellowship and visit with the 200+ congregation.
A solid success, Wendy fondly recalls her time at the popular place of worship.
She said:
"The warmest of welcomes gave me hope that maybe there would be some families present who would consider fostering.
Throughout his sermon, Father Paul made references and appeals for people to come forward to help children in need.
After, everybody gathered in the Crypt to have tea and cakes and a small group came and spoke to me about becoming carers. It was a wonderful morning; I look forward very much to returning later in the New Year. "
