Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire

Now recruiting!

Anchor Foster Care operates across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire and is currently recruiting new and experienced foster parents.

There are over 80,000 children living with foster families in the UK today and this region desperately needs more foster parents to help support with this demand, which continues to rise.

If you are over 21, have a spare room in your home and have a legal right to work in the UK then it’s likely you’ll be eligible to apply to become a foster parent.

Currently, we’re urgently recruiting new families across these key regions:

  • Luton
  • Bedford
  • Milton Keynes
  • Hertford
  • St Albans
  • Stevenage
  • Hitchin
  • Barnet
  • Aylesbury

So, whether you’re new to fostering or if you are an existing foster parent looking to transfer, then we want to hear from you!

If you live in Buckinghamshire or Hertfordshire, please get in contact today.

“Transferring to Anchor was very quick and easy.”

“We were given a timescale of 3 months to transfer which was met. Anchor kept us informed at all stages of the process. They’ve delivered on all their promises, and we have never looked back.  Anchor is, really good at matching and they’ve given us all the support we need and more.”

Why foster with Anchor?

As a not-for-profit organisation, our sole focus has always been on delivering a children-centred fostering service with a ‘family feel’. It’s this family feel that makes us what we are and has helped us deliver outstanding care to children in need for more than 20 years.

Along with our child-centred vision, we believe that our foster families should be at the forefront of our mission. We know how hard our foster parents work and we know that it’s this hard work that helps children reach their full potential. That’s why we offer 24/7 support, generous allowances, expert advice and extensive onboarding training, as well as regular training opportunities.
