What’s been made available
The outlined support includes:
- £10 million towards the ‘Staying Put’ scheme, designed to create longer term stability for care leavers
- £6 million towards support for young people who leave care to live independently
- £3 million to improve education opportunities for care leavers
- 1,000 internships for care leavers, including within the Civil Service and other public bodies.
