Sessional Worker – Kent

Anchor Foster Care is currently recruiting a Sessional Worker to work with children and young people, in and around Kent, who would also be willing to travel to other areas as needed, such as South London.

This is a ‘casual’, hourly paid role. Hourly Rate is £12.50 for week days and £15 for weekends and bank holidays.

Required experience

We are keen to hear from people who have experience of:

• Working with children and young people to build self-esteem
• Helping with events and activities during school holidays
• Supporting children and young people to maintain contact with birth families and siblings (transporting children, supervising contact etc.)
• Caring for or supervising children and young people (respite/emergency)
• Attending and reporting on meetings involving children and young people

Important information

You will need to be available to work flexibly; this will include school holidays, after school and at weekends. You will also need to have a driving licence and your own car.
